Eduardo Mutuc starts with a detailed drawing and transfers the design on a block of wood by chiseling out the details. After that he covers the wood with metal sheet and then coaxes out the design through careful hammering with a mallet and an old rubber lipper.
The cross is made out of wood and brass. The piece is changeable, the metal that is called swag could be removed and also the cross itself canbe taken out of the base so that it can also hanged on the wall.
